I don’t know my Star Wars characters very well, but using those I know:

C – Yoda (Slashing line drives and Gold Glove defense would be Yoda’s calling card, as would his snail-like speed. He was mostly bald with a little white fuzz on top. Green hair would make him look silly. I think you just have to combine a bald head with some hooded Muppet eyes and use your imagination.)

SP – Chewbacca (very hard and heavy fastball/sinker combo. For physical appearance, use dot-eyes or line-eyes with brown skin, hair and beard in slightly different shades. I’m not sure if he was left-handed in the movie, but he is here: http://cache.boston.com/images/bostondi ... wbacca.jpg)

SP – Han Solo (Like his movie character, Solo needs to be a trash-talking sandbagger who just so happens to be lucky and a strong finisher. Solo could deceive hitters with a potent 2-seamer/slider/fork/c-change mix.)

P – Lando Calrissian (Maybe a young Tom Gordon, with a good fastball and loopy curve. I hated Lando, so maybe he could be RP.)

LF – Luke Skywalker (Luke and Anakin could be the Griffey Jr. and Griffey Sr. of the team, except Daddy gets CF. Luke is left-handed so OF and 1B are the only two positions he can play, and his speed would be wasted at 1B, OF it is.)

CF – Anakin Skywalker (A young Barry Bonds. Incredible talent and a major a-hole.)

3B – Qui-Gon-Jin (The original SS, he graciously stepped aside when his protégé Obi-Wan was called up from AAA. Or he could play 2B and form a double-play combo with Kenobi)

SS – Obi-Wan Kenobi (Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon would play fundamentally sound defense and have above average skills across the board)

1B or 3B – Mace Windu (Don’t know much about Mace Windu outside of his purple saber, but Samuel L. Jackson would probably swing a big stick.)

? - Emperor Palpatine

P – Darth Sidious (Is he the one who shoots electricity from his hands? If so, he needs electric stuff or a hard, zig-zaggy knuckle.)

Too bad you can't make robots. Boba Fett would be awesome.

Palpatien can be the Yanks owner :haaa: Nay, he can be...mop-up man? Windu would be a power hitter, judging by the way he died. General Grevious as OF utility or IF.

You need Plo Koon. Maybe Jar-Jar. A Mandalorian. I'm just going to list:

Ewok
Ssi-Ruuk
P'w'ecks
Fft
Boba/Jango Fett
Durge
Dengar
Just to name a few.

Chewy totally strikes me as a power-hitting right fielder with a cannon for an arm.

I agrree there Lomb. We'll compile a list of candidates for each position. Then determine the player's we'll make and their stats. Sound good? Yoda is catcher since it seems to be unanimous.

1B candidates:

General Grievous(with all those arms and jumping ability how can he miss)
Mace Windu
Emperor Palpatine
Darth Vader
Jabba the Hutt(It's a stretch)

Feel free to add more.

Vader would be better somewhere else, and now that i think about it, Grevious would make sense at first. Windu would be better at third as a power hitter with a good arm, but overall below-average defense.

I would add Durge to the list of First.

Vader would be better than Anakin, unless you want to have a whiney snot nosed a-hole

? - Emperor Palpatine
P – Darth Sidious
They are the same person, Darth Sidius is Emperor Palpatine

Too bad you can't make robots. Boba Fett would be awesome.
Boba Fett was a clone, not a robot.

I'm a wee bit of a Star Wars fan, Does it show? (ahh the curse of being born in the early 70's)
I would add in:
Moff Tarkin
Greedo
Storm Troopers (can make all the backup players be Storm Trooper 1-whatever and make them all d's or something)

Or for backups we can have the different kinds of troopers.Snowtrooper,Stormtrooper, Clonetrooper(good guys) etc.

Most backups of Success mode teams have little to no abilities, so they would all be about the same. Thus, clones, like the clonetroopers, stormtroopes, etc. So that sounds about right for the backups lance.
