when you're setting the lineup for the final game against sittch, press - to see their name, position grade and b-day.

Another way to find all of the stats and abilities is going to 'score' in mid game...
(thats how I updated the Wiki rosters)

Yes, but that stance has already been identified... I'm not trying to find out what players use which stances, but rather who some of the generic forms are depicting.

For example, Sammy Sosa and Roger Clemens had their own unique forms in 2007. But since they are retired this year, and not part of the MLBPA, their names could not be used in the game. However, Konami/2K Sports decided to put their forms in the game anyway, as generic forms, so that we could still use them.

Are there any more we are missing?

I'm pretty sure 3/4 36 is Dempster, because he does the goofy glove thing. I could be off on the number, but it's kinda hard to miss.

but its the wrong goofy glove thing.
while this has it shake up and down once, dempster twists it around by his face so you can't see what's going on in there.

Yeah, I recognize that from 2007 but I'll have to load it up and see.

I don't think it's Dempster, because he appears in the 2008 game. There's no reason to make it a generic form instead of just calling it "R. Dempster".

3/4th's 36 is definitely not Dempsters because Dempster doesn't bring his hands over his head.

Is that really Sami Soso? I find it hard to believe that they included older (slightly old, but still) statistic or styles like that since their carrer statistics are so far off.

Yeah, it is Sammy Sosa's because if you pop in 07 and look at Sosa's form it's exactly the same as closed 8. I'm confused about what you're saying about the stats though.

Sosa played in 2007 for the Rangers and was given a unique "S.Sosa" form in MLB PP 2007. You make it sound like they dug up a player who retired 3 years ago.

I thought Soso retired a few years a go, nevermind then. By stats I mean that when they show career statistics, they don't include any before 08. Its the same thing with all time season mode records.

Here's the complete list of missing 2007 unique pitcher forms. I made a list and compared with 2008. Bold names have not been accounted for yet.

OH
A.Otsuka
T.Ohka
F.Garcia
K.Igawa

3Q
R.Clemens
A.Benitez
B.Colon
K.Benson
A.Fultz
M.Kuwata

DS
M.Myers

Update:
Igawa = OH23
Myers = Generic Dual Style

Code:
Overhand 20 - Akinori Otsuka
Overhand 21 - ???
Overhand 22 - Freddy Garcia
Overhand 23 - Kei Igawa

OH Missing List
A.Otsuka
T.Ohka
F.Garcia
K.Igawa

It's likely OH21 = Ohka. Also

Code:
3-Quarters 31 - Roger Clemens
3-Quarters 32 - ???
3-Quarters 33 - Bartolo Colon
3-Quarters 34 - ???
3-Quarters 35 - ???
3-Quarters 36 - ???
3-Quarters 37 - Alvin

3Q Missing List
R.Clemens
A.Benitez
B.Colon
K.Benson
A.Fultz
M.Kuwata

So its likely that 3Q32 = A.Benitez ; 3Q34 = K.Benson ; 3Q35 = A.Fultz ; 3Q36 = M.Kuwata

Looks like we'll have to look elsewhere for 3Q20-29. I'll try to make a list from Jikkyou Powerful Major League.
