It seems pretty clear that the Power Rating has an effect even when just swinging for contact.. But does the Contact Rating even matter when attempting a 'Big Swing?' The cursor size is always the same no matter what the stats are...

Are you serious? Maybe you just happen to play with people who have the same contact level, or around the same, but there is a big difference between a D and B Power Swing. Especially if you have no abilities for either, you'll see it.

Power cursor size definitely changes based on the contact rating.
