Post subject: | Copying saves to an SD card? |
I know this topic came up last year, but has anyone been able to successfully copy their saved games to an SD card for MLB PP 2008? I tried last night and apparently the file is locked and cannot be copied. I heard there might be a way to unlock the save and copy it but...is there a way to do it so that I could safely transfer my saved game to another Wii?...I spent countless hours playing and trading players so I don't feel like starting all over again ![]() |

Thanks...but from what I can see, this device comes loaded with saves ("Powersaves") for a number of games that are unlocked, however there's no mention of the possibility to do anything with your regular saves. What I want to do is simply backup my MLB PP 2008 save file on an SD card...is there any way it can be done? Thanks! |

I'll play around with my wii and see if I can unlock a save. I'll update you if I figure out how. |

I remember reading someone's post on this board and he said he transferred his save data to an SD card and all that... Actually, here it is: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=900&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30 Check out the second post by duke776 on this page (Sep 6)... Could it be the PS2 version, or both versions have their save data locked? |

He wasn't banned because of his question, he was banned because of his attitude. So ask away, I'd like to be able to save my games on an SD card too ![]() |

I don't know about games, but I saved my characters on my Wii remote. Does that help in anyway? I doubt it does, but yea, just throwing it out there. |

I was actually looking for a way to backup everything, not just created players but all of your Arrange mode teams and stuff like that. It might also help with the data corruption problem some users have encountered if there was a away to backup our saves. |
