My two "big" favorites are....(not just in the game) -Circle Changeup...... -Slider (has to be a good one) In the game -Knuckleball -Drop Curve (it is nasty) -Any custom pitch... |

Acutually I loved Tim Wakefield till one day............I used him against the Rockies and we got owned cause they had great contact and the counter of knuckleball is good contact.... |

I have an unhealthy addiction to throwing the slider. Give me a decent fastball-slider-splitter starting pitcher and I'm in my happy zone. |

DCB, SCB, V-SLD, KN, CCHG, SHU are my favorites. But my absolute favorite is a 105 mph gyro-fastball ![]() |

I'm a big fan of the DCB, SCB, Knuckler, CHG, and Cutter. I usually use combos of DCB, CNG, CUT or SCB, CHG, Slide/Cut. I find the computer AI has a really hard time picking up a lvl 7 DCB, SCB, or Knuckler. And mixing speeds on a 105 MPH fastball and CHG to the same location usually gets you a strike anytime as well. Im not too big a fan of the Shuuto, it seems to get knocked around alot even at high lvl. I do like to have a pitch that breaks opposite my normal bend, but you have to be very careful on location and when you throw it...especially if you use it on a lefty pitcher. When I play exibition against a friend I notice the knuckler doesnt work too well like it does against the AI. My buddy rakes the knuckler if it strays across too much plate, but the computer cant hit it at all even if it trails into the zone. The DCB, and SCB seem to be the most versitile overall against any opponent. |

In the '07 version, I was always looking forward to Josh Nickels (Deuce) being my reliever as he had a level 5 V-Slider, level 2 Changeup and a level 2 Curve, with formidable control and Fastball Life. |

V-SLD, KN, KNCB, and occasionally a SLV. Although I taught jesse carlson to throw a H-SLD with 7 break! |

Thats why you either have to look for "knuckleballers" in the draft..... Or make a pitcher learn the pitch.... |
