Aggressive run, fielder, and Gd pace skills all seem to be questionable value to me. I notice that in season or my life modes, whenever I use a player with one of these abilities, I get injured quite often.

With aggressive run, I dont notice any extra speed or anything, but do notice injuries on slides to 3rd or 2nd.

With aggressive fielding I have noticed a few more errors (!) then normal on routine plays, and also have taken an injury or two diving for balls.

Gd pace seems to lead to more elbow pain DL trips, but I notice no benefit to pitching faster between pitches.

Anyone have experiences with these skills that are positive? All I notice are the negative aspects, but see no real benefits from aquiring these skills, even though they are all green abilities.

By far the most noticable are the Gd pace elbow injury, and the sliding into 3rd injury from aggressive run. Both these effects seem to happen quite often to players with the skills, but rarely to players without the skills.

Head first slide is what injures them. Aggressive run lets them go another base. The only way to get what you deserve in success mode.

Yeah as I've posted up before, HD 1st Slide is a liability, sure you may save an out or two but the percentage increase of injury rates generally are not worth it.

And if you're a fast player it's slower anyway.

I think the combo of head first slide and aggressive run is what really makes the injuries pile up. I notice way more slide injuries then any other type by far.

Hmm...I haven't really noticed any corellation between head first slide and injury. It all seems to be random, in terms of whether injuries happen and to what player, as far as I can tell.

One thing I have noticed, though, is that the lower the player fatigue is, the less likely that player is of getting on the DL--even if he does get injured and has to leave the game.
