Whats better a maxed out custom player out of success mode or a free agent player maxed out? I think I read something saying something about the bar? Whats the bar?

The purple bar if you edit a player. It makes the name look stupid and ugly. No offense if you like dark purple.

It's more of a big indicator of "cheating guilt" some people feel when they edit players... then they get this constant reminder that they did it.

A success mode character can be used anywhere, whereas a created player in any other mode can only go to Season Mode if the character is savable in the first place (you can't save off a totally wicked guy you trained in Season Mode).

Actually, you (sorta) can. Build the guy up, save the team, use them in exibition, league, wahtever. Not usuable in all modes though.
