I play "Expert" because of the challenge, but I admit that it is incredibly frustrating when pitches thrown at my batter's feet are called strikes.
Just curious as to what level most of the board plays on.

In Season, My Life, and the incredibly rare expansion game, I use all powerful (the hardest)

CPU everything on Powerful

No strike zone displayed, fast pitching speed

I go back and forth on normal vs. lock-on 1 batting.

Ooh, no strike zone, I can't do that yet. I tried and failed misrably. Do you use expert pitching. I just realized its their (duh) and am trying it out. It's interesting. I still don't do fast pitching speed but I should and I usually use lock on 1.

cpu: everything on expert
strike zone: displayed. still getting use to getting called strikes around your eyes
sweetspot curser: normal (no lock-on)
pitching controls: classic
pitching mark: ball. it would be more challenging to have it on point but watching breaking balls spin is too fun

those are my settings on my first playoff run in the 2007 season mode currently. after playing those 162 games, expert cpu gradually got easier. i think i'm ready for the jump to powerful once i start season on power pros 2008

forgot to mention that i use catch indicators too. playing on powerful difficulty and normal sweetspot cursor is saying alot for skill ability. i can only wonder how good gamers in japan are at this game! :D

Interesting, so your much better at pitching then hitting? I feel that those who really know there baseball are better at pitching then hitting. I'm much better at hitting then pitching  . However, when I am awake and standing up (you think much better then when your slouched/laying down on a chair/couch) and am not wipped out, I play much better.
