| Post subject: | League Mode? |
Anybody play the League Mode at all? I don't see any discussion here. That's the only mode I played in the past month (now I have started Life while the season in my League mode is winding down). As far as I can tell, it's another way to 1. earn points quickly (2000 points per game), 2. polish your pitching/hitting/base running/defense, and 3. get to know the players well. |

The League mode allows you to create a League of up to six teams from the real teams and the teams you created, and choose the number of games played between two teams. Each team can be either CPU-controlled or manually-controlled. The game play is identical (as far as I can see) to Exhibition except that there's no bullpen. Management-wise, you can promote players from AAA. I am not sure if you can trade players (I have never done that). I can imagine it be a popular mode if/when the online play is available. |
