So i just bought 08, wohoo! I'm gonna get on in alittle while (Brother just bought Rock Band try'in to be nice and just let him play first), but when i do get a chance, i'm proably gonna play a quick exibition and then dive right into life mode with a created character. I was just wondering, what did you first play when you got 08?

LOL, I did the exact same thing. I started out with an exhibition game just to get the feel of things, then went right into MLB Life mode and started a new player.

Exhibition game. Last year I did the same thing.

Yeah, when i got 07, i played Exhibition for about a week and then did a season. I am almost done my 07 custom team, but it might not ever get done now ! Anyway, i proably won't do season for awhile because i pretty much bought the game for "my life" and roster updates really don't mkae a HUGE difffernece to me, although i am gald i have them.

I did the same thing, I played about 2 exhibition games (to see the teams, and get a feel for the game)
Then I half-started a MLB Life mode. (I didn't save it, just wanted to see the "feel" of being a rookie)
Then I tried a "dream" draft to test out my GM skills.

I went to life mode cause it was the new one

Season Mode for a few games

then went to play success and my life for the most part

I did the same as you. MLB Life mode rox, and the Exhibition+ stat tracking is pretty sweet too : ) .

I also played Exhibition mode first, followed by trying out success mode to create my own player. I never played the 07 version, so it was all new to me, but after a few runs through success, I got the swing of things pretty quickly. This game rocks for depth of stats and fun fast gameplay.

I finally got on, and MLB does rock! I play a quick three inning game agaisnt the mets as the phillies, and won 3-1 with hamills on the mound. i would have gone longer to make use of the bullpen, but i was dieying to get to my life. I'm a couple days into april, and i am batting almost 900 in AAA with my catcher. I also have a buch of steals and a couple RBI's. Hopefully i can get the call up soon.

I always go to check out the rosters as soon as I get a new sports game then exhibition

I did success first.

I spent about 5 minutes looking through things off the main menu, then went into Success mode. I played that until I finished my first guy, then switched to MLB Life mode. I did spend enough time with Season and Exhibition mode to write my review, but I've been stuck on MLB Life for about a month now

Success=failure mode... I then tried Season, and best for last, MLB Life Mode.

I went straight to Success Mode. On my first try I didn't know what I was doing but I managed to beat it on my first try . I failed twice after that but now I beat it all the time.
