Why exactly are we removing Wang's hard sinker? |

Wang's best pitch is the sinkerball. In the mlb it results in get the groundball outs, so i see no reason why it should be removed. |

Wang has both a SIFB and a Hard Sinker, as he can throw a sinker at over 90 MPH, which has to make it a SIFB, but also he knows a Hard sinker. |

Josh Beckett - Remove Forkball entirely (he doesn't throw one, let alone of the best in the majors). - I don't agree with the [walk] negative ability he has either. He only walked 40 in 200 innings last year. - I also don't agree with the [fastball life 2] negative ability. I threw it up one notch. Clay Buchholz - Add [fastball life 2]. The entire reason the Sox have tried to alter his mechanics are because of his flat fastball. - I don't think it would be a stretch to add [slow starter] and/or [strong finisher]. I haven't done so though. Manny Delcarmen - Add Drop Curve (2), remove Curveball (1). - Changeup (1) instead of Changeup (2) - He also shaved his head recently if you care about appearance. Diasuke Matsuzaka - Velocity 94 mph. - Add Circle Changeup (2), remove Changeup (4). - Curveball (3) insted of Curveball (2). - I'd argue his control should be dropped down to the "D" level. Hideki Okajima - Changeup (3) instead of Changeup (5). Jonthan Papelbon - Splitter (3) instead of Splitter (1). Edit - In case anyone is wondering what Michael Bowden, the Red Sox's call-up for tonight's game throws: - 3/4 delivery. It's very funky looking and he sets with his glove facing third base. There's a video of it here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxwubzj8Ong - 95 mph - Drop Curve (3), Circle Change (1), and 2-seamer (1) - I think I'd give him "B" Stamina and "E" Control. |

Title27GT wrote: Why exactly are we removing Wang's hard sinker? his hard sinker only goes like 85 MPH max in the game while the sinking fastball goes about 94 MPH like real life. |

White Sox John Danks Lower stamina to 115. This year and last, he's started strong then had a lengthy "dead arm" period after the All-Star break. Add level 3 Cutter. He picked this pitch up from Mark Buerhle, and it's a big reason for his success this year. Add level 1 Curve. He uses one sparingly. It's "get me over" quality. Gavin Floyd Add level 3 Curveball. Gavin uses a standard curve as well as the drop curve he has in the game. Mike MacDougal Change from 3-Quarters 18 to 3-Quarters 9. He changed his motion this season while in the minors. |

I'll do this the next chance i get. Phillies C. Hamills Change-up(2) & Curveball(5) switch. His change is his dominant pitch. He only sometimes uses his curve. Remove 2sfb. He only throws a straight-up old school(as Gary Matthews says) fastball. |

Me_and_Lucy wrote: What number is Tim Lincicum's pitching style? 3-Quarters 18. It is the closest to his motion in the game, IMHO, but far from exact. Hopefully, he'll get a unique form next game. |
