Because I get confused if you updated it or not.

I hope I won't get flamed for asking this but...I just got the game today and I was wondering if editing teams through Arrange mode was the only way to modify the rosters. I mean, wouldn't it be better to edit players in My Data so that they would be available in all modes without having to use "created" teams? (i.e. replacing every attribute from a player with another player's attributes) Why would there be a FA list if there's no way to put FA players on MLB teams? Thanks for your help guys.

This is the only method to have it work in Season and Exhibition modes. MLB life mode is a sim of a season from the start of the 2008 season (as is Season mode too). Altering the MLB players forces you to keep the names and the voices, which wouldn't be correct at all if you swap their skins.

Season/Exhibition mode only. Season via F/A acquisitions or Arrange Team. Exhibition via Arrange Team only.

Add Mike Lamb to the Brewers remove him from the twins

Well movements should be done now since the final trade deadline is over and only lesser players can move around. Thanks to everyone who helped with this roster update.

I thought that's what the "Voice" option was for when editing a player in My Data. Also, if you edit a player in My Data, are the changes also reflected in Arrange mode?

just want to say many thanks to everyone in this thread helping out with the roster updates! i am going to get started on my roster updates myself and will check back with you guys if i notice anything that needs to be changed or corrected. don't forget about duke776's tip on fixing the draft order for arrange teams on page 5 of this thread. also, if any of you don't have this yet, listed below is mlb.com's transcations page.
