this is awesome! and very accurate with the exception of pic 28: though there were wind gusts during the day they tapered off at game time (what can i say i'm a weather freak) 8) also pic 29 should've been how all WBC games ended, with opposing teams congratulating each other on field (or did they? ESPN did not show the closing ceremonies and i had to scramble to catch the rest on my computer)! 8) :mrgreen: thanks for taking the time to post this, i can't wait for the new game be it import or stateside release

I can't get those pictures. When I click the URL, it doesn't show up, but it says an error message that says the page not found, around a sea of japanese letters that don't make a grain of sense to me.

It is probably because the development team reuses the stripes in MLB version.
You will not expect anything in future as it is yet to happen ;p

Replace the XX with the number in the list.

WOW! I just saw that trailer, and I am SO getting this one! I mean, I'm not all for Success mode, but you know what, they really cleaned this one up, and hopefully, you can transfer your past characters, I would totally love that. Catcher mode, freaking awesome! That's so cool dude! And the fact Alvin is back! DUDE!

I am so excited for this, and the best part, the WBC! HOLY SHEET! I wonder if you can select your ethnicity when you make a Success mode character though...

Hopefully 2K sports can see all the enthusiasm on this site and decides to put this new game out, cause I still haven't heard an announcement on the game and I'm pretty sure we had one by this point last year.

So is anyone planning to purchase the Japanese version of the game when it comes out at the end of this month?

PS- Nice touch on giving Giambi a mustache in '09. :mrgreen:

Last year's was also announced in April. We might be back in the mode of the first game, which came out in October. Who knows what 2K is doing at all these days...

I am going on a trip to Japan this September and I might pick up the Japanese version of 2k9 for PS2 if it doesn't come out stateside, since the PS3 is region-free.
