Maybe we just haven't noticed it before because in Exhibition or Season Mode, most people tend to play with the pitch type indicator hidden. AFAIK MLB Life is the only mode where it's on by default. From here on I could try playing Exhibition games with it displayed and see if I run into a Lv4 2SFB. Well yes, but will there ever be a 106MPH fastball? Or a lvl 8 breaking ball? |

sorry for the bump guys but I GOT A LEVEL 4 2SFB!!!!!!!!!!! and, IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IT BREAKS MORE THAN A LEVEL 3!!!!! I got him exactly the same way as nasa - 80 control, 60 stamina, 90 mph, level 6 cutter, level 6 CB, supposedly "maxed" 2SFB - and it was level 4!! I think that this might be perhaps an easter egg or something - it's probably not a glitch. I also tried practicing 2SFB with him (see if there is level 5) and it doesn't seem to work. However, the "4" DOES show up on the practice screen, more proof that this is NOT A GLITCH! this is what you get when you sit around for 5 hours trying to draft a good player. |

What is his name? I'm assuming he was your fist pick? |

He was called Reichert and he was my first pick. I know a maxed out breaking ball pitcher when I see one. |

jack_daniel wrote: And when you look at him on the roster in season mode (under mlb data >> pitcher ability, I believe) does he have the up arrow listed as a 4? yup. The up arrow is listed as 4, so I'm pretty sure it's not a glitch now. jack_daniel wrote: This was a drafted player with the gray bar under their name, correct? I am wondering if this glitch is repeatable at all. If you go through enough drafts you may be able to get the glitch to repeat if you are lucky enough. So it would be nice to be able to see if a player has this glitch without actually having to view them in an actual game, for someone trying to repeat this glitch. first of all, it's probably not a glitch... but I'm sure that it would be possible to draft another level 4 2SFB if you spent enough time. |

Those CPUs could use some draft advisors... Could you take a pic of the info box thing? I want to see. |

The CPU takes nothing but position players for the first round, which is great when there is a future ace in the draft but sucks when you are trying to fill a positional need. |
