Most bats give some bonus - + to contact or opwer. If you sell it you will lose that bonus.

I'm going to start a season with expansion teams. I already have Panpaka Park. What other stadium should I unlock? I want something with fairly realistic dimensions.

Golden apple ballpark is kind of wierd, its like 430 feet out to center and the right center field and left center fielder dimensions are deep, but theres a somewhat tall wall out there in left and right field that is around 310-350 feet

And then theres rainbow beach stadium that I guess is small, but it looks pretty cool

Rainbow Beach is actually the most well-rounded park of the non-MLB parks, and it does look awesome. That's why it's my favorite.

I also like Golden Apple Stadium.

How's this for a pitcher without using guides (except partway through trying to get gyroball after I did about 6 dates with Patty)? Top Speed: 84, Ctrl: C, Stam: C, H-SLD 2, CCHG 4, FOSH 4, Vs. Lefty 4, Gd Low Pitch, Gd Pickoff, Lucky, Battler, Barehand Catch, Gd Morale.

Top Speed is hard to upgrade though. I've never gotten mine higher than 90.

I'm probably going to do it again so I can hopefully get gyroball and change my pitches. I don't really like the foshball.

Fosh is alright but the V-Slider is my personal favorite. CPUs and People can't hit it. :D

From what everyone's said about the vertical slider, it seems like kind of a cheesy pitch. I think this time I'm going to make a gyro and knuckleballer. Has success mode been fixed for 2008 so if you're a relieve or closer, you actually relieve?

Here's my guy after Christmas, first year. Top Speed: 84, Ctrl: D, Stam: D, Knuckleball: 3, Slow Curve: 2, Vs Lefty 4, Consistency 4, Battler, Gd Morale. I got glove wax from Patty's surprise bag.
