Sorry for double post, but I just got another idea. This one is just a suggestion, and some of you might not like it a lot, but I'll say it anyway: In the final success mode game (as in sittch game in '08 or superstar game in '07), a randomly chosen created player that you've already made joins the team to help you. Wouldn't that be cool?

I'd like that. Unless it's one of my guys that are terrible. Come to think of it, odds are every one of my players are terrible! But, yeah, it would be a cool idea. 8)

I just realized the ugly purple bar for edited players disappears if you shut off "name underlays" in the season option menu. D'oh!

I agree with better instant replays.

It seems like we're going backwards in instant replay technology.

Even the sports games of the early 90's had cool instant replay features which allowed you to watch them from basically any perspective. What happened to that?

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but they really need to make it so that the batter running to first actually runs through the base so he doesnt just walk away when hes like an inch from making it on a close play, it looks so adnormal when they do that

That, and about a billion other little graphics quirks.

I love this game but are too many problems with it too. There NEEDSto be more than 10 years, I would want at least 30. The crowds should be as large as how well the team is doing, for instance the nationals shouldnt sell out every day and the marlins even have their upper decks all filled, players seasons should be more consistent, it always seems like with draft picks that you hit like 10 homers in the first month with him, and then he hits 2 the rest of the year. And players like Ichiro or Markakis shouldnt be batting .210 while ausmus goes out and bats .378, it seems like high contact players in the game always bat below .300 except jeter. And 4 trajectory doesnt mean batting .300, in this game players like giambi, dunn and chris young always bat like .340 because of their 4 trajectory, they definatly need more players in this game to fill out full rosters, and other teams should at least be able to start their bench once in a while. And theres also something I liek to call 5-man rotations! not 6, not 7, 5!, its annoying, noone can get in 30 starts a season. There should be a little more injuries as well like players on your team going on the disabled list like 2-4 times a year, that wouldnt be too bad. Wow if someone was to look at this comment, then they would think this game was terrible but this game is just so addicting.

how about in success mode, one of your pitchers has more than a D stamina, like in '07?
pisses me off that i have to go through 4 pitchers in the last game.

I agree with you on... all of that. The thing about the crowd size isn't really necessary, but could be a cool little feature they just throw in.

so would bench clearing brawls!

also, how about more benefits from socializing with teammates in my life, along with more hobbies.
also, scouting and such for the draft would be great in season mode.

Yeah! That would be awesome. You could get a list of the draft players before the draft with the heptagon thing showing their strengths, but you can send out a limited amount of scouts to get specific abilities on players of your choosing and decide by the draft if you want that player, or gamble with a player you don't know the specific abilities of.

And in MLB Life mode, you need WAY more interaction with people, especially your wife and kids! A massage, room cleaning, and budget check just isn't enough. There should be an option to "practice" with teammates and kids. This will boost your abilities, and you friendship with that player.

like in madden, you run them through drills, and the better you do on the drills, the more you know about him.

that would be really cool.
adding minigames for practicing would be good too.
i still remember in shenmue (awesome adventure game), there was an arcade that you could play at to pass the time away, and you actually played minigames. You could even win little prizes if you did well enough.
