Dammit. I meant to say second line. XD

Alright that's enough derailing this topic. I think.

I'd like to call "BS" on all of you who complained about the 10 year limit without ever playing 10 seasons. Yu don't really ow if it's a drawback or not - and if all anybody goes is 4 or 5 seasons, the 10 is just as good as "unlimited."

As for the poor the prospects, I generally agree. I've only gone 5 seasons one time, and the way I was trying to set myself up for the future was that after I won the world series, I only drafted pitchers, but as my pitchers improved, I'd trade some of them, and also trade the position players I took in my 1st and 2d drafts who were now all-around decent players, and traded them for rookies with decent stats (decent meaning contact or power at D, defense or arm at D, and nothing below E other than speed or errors for OF). I had to overpay, but I was totally stocked so it didn't matter. My problem was I had a tough time letting go of my starters, who had gotten so amazing and were still young and cheap. Right now I'm playing an expansion team and am purposely not picking up stars who are awesome at everything. I'm hoping that if it takes longer for these guys to develop, but they keep demanding salary increases, it'll be easier for me to let them go and develop future players. Icahn tell you right now, I'm gonna have a tough time resisting picking up mark teixera and Brian McCann when they become free agents, but I'm gonna try!
