I will take some pic's. Well last night at work I started a success mode player. Couldn't tell what position I picked but found out I picked a pitcher. Ok here we go with the reveiw. Looks like he starts out in his bedroom and he's talking to his father, a spirit or somebody dressed up in a samuria/sumo wrestler outfit. As you guys know the system is a card base story line system. You move across the map or grid what ever you want to call it. By selecting different card types that range from 1-4 spaces. Each card is either a workout or some type of baseball related training, with studing cards for the academic side of the game IE one type I saw allot when I first started. Was a fishing type card that either gave you a boost of some sort or item collection type I think. There's two bars on the screen. A green one on top which to me looked like a progression bar that tells how close to the end of the grid/map you were. Then the other one was a purple one at the bottom of the screen. That looked to me like a morale meter, the more bars they were the low your players morale was (the sad face-smiley face factor). The different grids were in different colors, red, blue, green, and purple which I wasn't paying attention to much to see there effects. Each grid had either the ingame girl friends or players from the team with either a task to do or stat boost or for me which I was a pitcher. I actualy got to do a one on one pitcher and batter test. I'm guessing I had to strike him out make him foul it off or have him ground out. Geting a strike out seem to get the max award. Geting back to the map/grid, at the end of it there's a icon that looks like a stadium. And you guessed it you got to play a game. For me I got to start the game, you only got to control the pitcher and no batting. During the game I accuried two pitches. A down-left curve and a slider. Now don't quote me but I think I played on 3 or 4 maps/grid we won 2 out of 4 games. Each map/grid was on a different team I'm assuming I did well enough and moved up. And after the last game and the story progressed I got drafted to the pro eagle team. Same as in the other success stories you get to ajust your player. From color sweat bands glove color, uniform number batt color. For those the only ones I could figure out. I hope you guys like this reveiw and if there's any body else with japanese knowledge or have played the game. Please feel free to correct me and input your own experience's.
More to come as I will do another success player and dable some more with the Mii online playing

don't know if you've seen it, but it's the japanese trailer for the game.
go to 2:14, too, and listen.

anyways, it looks really good.
The game definitely has a more cinematic feel to it with the shading and stuff.
also, with 5 different ways to play success mode, it's going to be pretty confusing finding all the abilities:
"I found gyroball!"
"So did I! What team?"

Exactly.

Ok back to confirm the amout of maps/grids there are it's 4. Around the 2nd map/grid you'll see scouts from the Pro's showing up on the map. This time my player was a infielder 1st , 2nd 3rd I coudn't tell you. But the Pro team I did end up with was the Ruken Eagles again. So I'm guessing that theres some thing going on with the Eagles drafting players alot. One thing for sure is, for not knowing what the hell I'm picking. I think we would all make Pro prospect players if we could all read japanese.

I have 14 and it gives me the same problem, I pick the Old Ballplayer jersies of the NPb and they sent me to the eagles. What teams are you picking? The only guarrented way to not go to the eagles is to pick the other 11 teams. Put up a screenshot of the player creation....................I can translate the Japanese enough to where u go to who you want.

14 is a lot like 08. The success mode is ALOT EASIER than any I have played I have 10K, 12k, 14k, Pockets 1-11, and portable 1. The game play is okay. I like the story for 14k,

12 Japanese teams
16 in 14K 3 leagues *which was dumb because they could of had a 4 set of 4 top 2 in each makes the playoffs*

I passed everytime. I love World Champioship mode, It's challenging you fight thur asia to take on US or DR. You get a pro Hawaii staduim

The final success mode is Koshien manger, I won 2 games.

This game has the old school jersies. Wanna play as the taiyo Whales *Yokohama baystars* you can I have a player in the the old orange and greens. Wanna play in the old 80's tiger pinstripes you can. Be careful tho, choose the wrong jersey and get sent to sendai *the rouken golden eagles*

My life mode unlike for america is more realistic, The women you can date are limited by where you are playing. You can only date Kim, Sachiko and rosa in tokyo not hikaddio or osaka. My life mode still have the Xmas wedding and Manga V-day gift. OH YEAH you can get married with an apartment!!!!!!! I married the B-H girl and I had an apartment. You also become friends and actually have to grow them as your gf's then marry them.

Rating:4/5
Buy it It also has an online mode. For those who HAVE to have it, remember 14K is and old game.

Of those, how many run? I'm on my first--an RX8. Great car, but I'm worried about the Apex seals down the line.

BTW- chee, goodways, or anyone else with the game, can you play as any of the NPB teams with historical players included or is it just the 2009 roster in the throwback jerseys?

2 of them run the turbo has some fuel issues I haven't worked out yet. I starts good and idels great just after you start it and shut it off. Then trying to start it again it just keeps on cranking.

In your second picture, the one where you start setting up your guy with six options, is where you choose how he throws/bats. (Note that while it's standard in the US to list it as bats/throws, it's reversed in Japan.)

1st row: R/R, L/R
2nd row: R/L, L/L
3rd row: R/S, L/S

In your third picture, the one with two options, it's asking for which game level, normal or rookie. (I see that you chose R/R for the previous question, based on the info filled in that box on the right.)

I don't know enough Japanese to figure out much more than that.

for this picture...

top middle says "hero" (technically hiro), so it's probably success mode.
middle left says "pennant" (penanto), so i'm thinking season mode?
bottom right says sound (soundo).
the first part of the bottom middle says home run (homu ran), so it's home run derby.
the middle one is wi-fi
