I felt I had no control over what I was doing in 07, I liked the story, but the whole mechanics of the game were just plain worse. In 08 I actually get to play more than one or two games, I know the teams, I know whats going on, and I know most of the REs and other such things. So I voted 08.

the fun of success mode is playing around on each RE. We all know all the RE's and what is the best option.
Oh yeah, and making awesome players to put Albert Pujols in awe is fun, too. :D

08 always has the same random events and after 3 tries you've seen everything. 07 always has at least a few arcs that you've never heard of before. 08's funniest jokes was Marvins kid, the pitching machine and the Marvin's pondering of this being a video game. Those were very funny, but they weren't as funny as 07's events and there are only like 5 humourous events in 08. 07 had over 30 I can think of, right of the bat. Let me give you my favorite (its funnier then anything in 08). If your enough of a ladies man(skill in 07), Marvin will come and watch you on your dates. You won't notice, but he'll say something every time he does. Eventually, he comes up to you once again and you offer to help him get a date. He says really? and you are then told to use a fate card. At the time, all I had was 2 Marvin cards and 2 nos, and the Marvin cards are usually funnier. Plus, I didn't need Milton to be happier because he played left field and so did I. Anyway, if you use the Marvin card, you go find Marvin and ask him to pretend to be a woman and act as if hes dating with Milton. Later that day, Milton and Marvin are in the park. Marvin says, "I love you Milton" and Milton responds, "I love you too Marvin". Unfortunately, Peter just happens to be walking by and says "What!? What are you guys doing?" and proceeds to tell the whole team and collage about it. Milton gets even more depressed.

I love that event. It may be funny now, but its even better when you see it in real life. I almost crack up writing it.

I did like the basic mechanics in 08 much better but everything else in 07 was much better. Plus, as hard as it was, you could get every ability in the game by dating 2/3 girls. I actually find this game easiar to make a great player but this year its impossible to make a complete, maxed out genius.

The only two things I never saw was Sarah's ending and Milton's Arc.

You don't know that. I thought the same but then I found something new. There are SO many events not documented in the wiki. I selfishley didn't write them down. I usually play sometimes for purely pleasure and don't set any goals or try to get anything for the wiki. Can't do it with this one as without goals, its not fun since there are no events.

personally, 07 has quantity with funny moments, but I think 08 has the funniest moments, not counting the event cownip described and every time a baseball comes out of nowhere and hits Annie.
I love how Tom calls him the Marvin Unit though.

Some more moments that haven't been mentioned

Toby's Party-"Just push the button with your elbow or jaw"
Dad's Lawnmowing Job-"You've been taking the lawnmower for joyrides!" "I was just having a little fun." "And you were pulled over by the police for speeding!" "Well I tried to outrun 'em"

Haha, they were great that year. I think the the game in terms of humor easily surpasses it in terms of Quality of the very best events and the number of very funny events. I'd put the pitchers machine as the best one this year and probably in the top 5 between the two. I'd put the Marvin's kid in the top 20.

The Commanders-"Where's my reinfocements?"
Brainiacs- "Image training? It's already image match time! It's is proven that we will win the game 1-0."
Willy still makes me laugh.
