we have 17 pages to this thread...can't someone combine all this into one format? we all have basic ideas what we would like to see: trade block, announcer, more depth in life, etc. Someone combine all the ideas so that way we don't have to scroll through 17 pages. You can break it done into three catagories; Life, Success, General. It would make things easier to read and to possibly submit it to the makers of the game as ideas for 09. it would also keep us from repeating ourselfs, rehashing ideas that might have been metioned on page 7 or 14.

That would be DS, and he could edit the first post and add some of the good points we make on here.

More for WS/Pennant, and you should get points as soon as you earn them, so 2000 from the WS also nets you 1500 from the pennant and 1000 from the division series, etc.

Also, you shouldn't get anything for getting through the season, but you should get points for awards:

MVP:4000
Cy Young: 4000
Gold Glove:2000

etc.

Obtainable green abilities in MLB life mode
Well it's true, for an instance, if you use the fastball in a measure of 2:1, you should be a power pitcher
Or if you have over an amount of walks, you should have Gd Eye
or if you have over an amount of fans, you should get a star

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has it's own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of the mystery everyday. Never lose a holy curiousity

Did not read everything so many of these may have been adjusted.

Upgrade the graphic engine: the game still looks like a glorified playstation game or a mediocre playstation 2 game. I like the childish look , I am just comparing it with other games.

Most important for me is running and fielding stupid errors under auto control.
1. tagging up.
1a) Had base loaded and smacked it almost to the wall but since noone tagged up noone scored. The game rarely tags up and misses many scoring chances.
1 b) not taggin up on a fly. I had a blooper to third and my baserunner was standing just off the bag for no reason and the guy caught tossed to third and he was out.
2. Fielding throwing choices:
2a) when there is a guy on third and the computer throws to home eventhough the guy is moving back to third.
2b) first baseman throwing to second eventhough no chance to get the guy when he could just walk over and touch first to get a sure out.
2c) outfielders making throws they have no chance of gettin guy out. Throwing to first on a tag up, throwing home when not even a close play... When you make an extra throw with no chance of success you have a chance of an error so this only can be negative.
2d) outfielders throwing home instead of to cut off- allows hitter to advance to second .
2e) taking the easier play- in baseball a ball hit up the middle is flipped to the second baseman and not always thrown to first.
3. Sliding: should make it slightly faster but when they slide into first they are noticeably slower and called out on plays they would have made. If it is only set to avoid a tag at another base then they should not slide while running to 1st.
4. Throwing players out- Outfield assists- in real baseball if you run on a guy like Alex Rios and others they will throw you out. I have a character with improved throwing and cannon arm and 15 throwing and have not yet thrown someone out with him. I have had a catcher with good block stop a guy at the plate from an infielder throw so the extra throwing should help outfielders as the block helps catchers.
5. Outfielder routes to the ball- many times a high fly ball is hit to the outfield and he has plenty of time to get to it but takes a circle route and it drops in just in front of them.

Of love the hitting mechanics and think they should allow the wii controller hitting in every mode and you should be able to use your wii characters to start success mode.

FOr success mode I think they should do a little league world series. The kid (they look like kids already) would be trying to make it to the national team tournament qualifiers the first year and a qualifier tournament the second (not sure how it works in reall life but something like that. If his team wins at the end of the second year they play a young japanese team with little ichiro ....

Hopefully, 20009 will be backwards compatible so you can keep your created players. I kept playing 2007 for a long time because the changes were not very significant and my players would not work on 2008. If my son did not scratch the disk so bad that it won't work I would still be playing 2007. If they want many of the ongoing users to play they should allow us this option.

They should add a load screen to the save screen during success mode. We will save and reload or reboot the wii if we have to but why not put it so we don't have to. It could also be allowed during the game by giving a quit or load feature in the ingame menu during success.

They should have an update feature so that if the update characters or game abilities we can update it. If they are having a problem doing it online then what about a site you could go and download the update and then place something in the game or wii that allows you to import it from the usb or smart card or something.

They should also make the skip dialog work better in the success mode. Some sections are slowed down and will not allow you to skip them quickly.

You should be able to earn points from playing my life. Haven't played it much but when I did I received no points when I saved. You get points from everything else, why not here.
