It made the game more unpredictable and funny. So did fate cards. Without fate cards you just always pick the right answer not knowing that there's more humour iin the wrong answer part.

2007 was funny. I wanna play it but it's pointless if the player I'm gonna make won't be able to be used in the game. But if I ever go back to playing 2007, then success mode is the first thing to do. But I'm awful at making players in 2007 :roll:

i like 07 more because it's way easier to make really good success players than in 08. (you don't see a guy like sifu in 08) also, the real-life players are much better in 07

07 is so cheap, that I'd go with it. But you might just want to wait a month and see if they release/announce 09. Or wait a month and buy 08 and 07 if 09 is released for half the price (but from the look of 09, it looks way better then either 08 or 07).

The 5 team success mode and wifi alone beats '07 and '08. Stuff like the WBC mode and the improved season mode are just icing on the cake. But will the cake come to the U.S.? :x
