Ontopic:Yay another PS2er. Do you plan on buying '07 as well?

I might eventually. Depends on if I like 2008 or not.

2007 Success Mode(in my opinion)is way better that 2008 success mode. But 2008 has My Life and a few other features that make it worthwhile.

I've heard that a lot about 2008's success mode but for whatever reason, I decided to go with that one. I've found the PS2 copy of 2007 fairly easy in stores so if I want to go back to that one, I can very easily.

Don't get me wrong I like them both and I think that they're both worth owning. But I like '07's success better for many different reasons.

How does this game compare to MVP Baseball 2005? I loved MVP.

That game was awesome. It really depends on how much you like Success mode. It doesn't have the Throwback Jerseys(well not as much)or Old Stadiums and Players but it can come close. Nothing is quite like MVP '05 though. :)

Are there any throwbacks besides the Jays and Brewers?

Edit: Sweet, just checked my order on Amazon and it arrived in Rochester today so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow.

I think the Padres have one. Their are lots of alternate jerseys just not throwbacks. That's one of the things I hope hey fix this year. So far it doesn't look like it but the other changes will make me buy this year's version.

Lets see, I don't think these count as throwbacks but here are some interesting uniforms that some teams have(And also, the powder blue jays shirts are 500 dollars)

Indians: Alternate home. They have a giant C on their hat and they have a milky color uniform(kind of liek the Padres)

Royals: Alternate home. Powder blue jerseys, everything else is dark blue

A's: Alternate 1. Its a black hat and uniform but has green sleeves and other kind of green and yellow things on their uniform

Phillies: Alternate home. Blue hats, they look really cool in this game

Mets: Alternates. They have 3 kinds of alternate ranging in blue, orange and black

Nationals: Alternate. Its red and the logo on the hat says DC and same with the uniform

Rockies: Alternate 2. Purple uniform and hat

Brewers: Alternate. Old throwbacks

Pirates: Alternate. Red brim and some red on uniform

Astros: Home and Practice- Has Texas on hat/red uniform. Alternate- Red Hat, white uniform

Well these are the uniforms that are most notable but there are some other cool uniforms too

Well, I got the game today. Unfortunately for me, they sent the 2007 version. I'm hoping I can get the $4.74 back that they overcharged me. It's killing me not to open it and pop it in.
