i wonder what a mlbpp commercial would be like.

i remember an ad on ign:
"it takes a real ballplayer to play without fingers"

You don't need a mouth...when you let your bat do the talking.
You don't need legs...to hit a walk-off home run.

I had just set up my Wii and needed some games to play; I had a couple of friends visiting from PA and I rented the original MLBPP. I played it for 4 or 5 days straight, and was lost. I browsed online and finally bought the original sometime last year, when I joined these forums.

The new one I held off on, since my custom players wouldn't transfer and I was having enuogh fun with the original. But I finally caved and bought it last week.

While on youtube I was watching NPB and came across pawa puro kun (9,10 and 11) for the DS and pawa puro 12K for the GCN, so naturally I went nuts when it came stateside, I think 07 is crap only because it didn't have my life mode.

I was in gamestop way back in 07 (cue the black & white TV) and saw MLBPP on a rack. Looked interesting, so I thought about buying it later. By the time I was about to do just that, it was gone. So when I saw PP08 there several months ago (September, IIRC) I snapped it up. Basically, I first found out by word of rack.

i happened to stumble upon power pros on one of the major video game sites in fall 2007 and eventually made the purchase in december of that year. my local library circuit has 10 copies each of power pros '08 for wii and ps2 and they are totally free to check out. kinda funny (and kool) that people will discover power pros in a library of all places.

I was looking for a game to get for no real reason at Gamestop, and this caught my eye cause it looked like backyard baseball, which i liked. Here i am today.

I happened to be watching X-Play and saw the graphics that took me back to my childhood days of owning just about every baseball title on the original Nes. When I saw that they actually gave this game a great rating (I think 5 out of 5) I absolutely had to get it.

Needless to say I was not disappointed.
