I heard it in season mode, during a game, and I beleive it was the song played when you select what to do in your dorm room in Success Mode in 07. Confirmation?

Was it one of the intro songs when you're about to start the game or perhaps when you paused to go to the menu? I remember MLB PP 2008 DS playing songs from 2007.

I believe the situation was bringing up a pinch hitter for a pitcher.

I just heard it in LA stadium in Anehiem.
I also saw an animation I've never seen before. My outfielder did a forward roll after a diving catch. Anyone seen this?

I have. And it's pretty sweet when you come out of that roll firing at a baserunner that strayed too far from the bag. Did the OF have the Aggressive FLD or Gold Glover ability? I think Gold Glover comes with extra animations for infielders - flip throws and acrobatic catches that can help convert certain plays quicker - but I never really thought about how it impacts the OF's. If it give the IF's cool animations then it must give the OF's some as well.
