Wow, that was a but disappointing. I just tried again with Mark Buehrle against the Pirates. The ONLY base runner I allowed was a home run to Jack Wilson in the third inning. Other than that ONE hit, I was perfect.

In my Rockies season mode just now with Aaron Cook against the Cardinals, I just pitched a two-hit shutout. I gave up a single to Pujols in the first, and a single to Wilkerson in the second, and then retired the last 23 batters of the game in a row.

Aaron Cook owns in MLB Life. When I was playing on the Rockies as a closer, Aaron Cook pitched 2 perfect games in one season, and threw a shutout practically every other game. He finished with an ERA in the 1's. (I finished with an ERA of 0.00 )

I'm a little disappointed in this All-Star game because of the poor choice in voting, the injuries, and players not doing the home run derby who should.

In the 07 game, I pitched a shutout with Jered Weaver on All-Star difficulty...And in success mode for 08 Siitch almost had a perfect game against me ...

I just took a perfect game into the seventh in my Rockies season mode with Franklin Morales against the White Sox. It was broken up with two outs in the seventh by none other than Jim Thome with a home run. I thought this was awesome because I was doing this with the purple face motivation, and in the rain.
