I did a little search around the forum and I'm confused.

If it for downward breaking pitches and makes them fall off the table later? Fall off the table less?
I see it with sliders a lot. Apparently, they rise a little bit? Is there much of a point to this?

I'm just not sure exactly what "sharply rising" does, yet. I made a pitcher with a sharply rising curve but I couldn't really tell.

It "hangs" more, or has more airtime. It's better for sliders than it is for CB/CHG/SNK. It's also rather hittable by the CPU.

Hm. Basically, it has less of a break to it? How does it make a slider better?

It still has the horizontal break of a slider, just looks different. Ask around, I personally have never had a player with a CHG w/ more rise.

It breaks slightly more and at the end you can see teh ball spinning upward slightly. For SLD at least. Check out my guy Van Hekken he has one.
