Apparently, it's not a glitch, and you can have four outs in an inning in baseball (I didn't believe it until I read it.)

Um, I know how you can get a triple play without moving!
Fast runners on first and second, they both look like they are going to steal.
0 outs (duh)
You extend over the base with your foot on the base so you can catch the ball, reach down immediately, and tag him out, BUT the ball is hit into a line drive about where your glove is. The ball is caught by you (1), the runner of 1st before the play runs into the ball (2) and your foot is on the base (3). There you go. :mrgreen:

I just got a triple play with the white sox against the rays

2nd inning, guys on 1st and 2nd and a ball is hit to crede, I tag the runner going to third, I throw 2nd and he throws to first to get the triple play, first one ever :D 8) :D 8) :lol:

wow, just 2 games after I got my 2nd triple play.

1st and 2nd no outs and abreu hit a fly to center and the runners didnt stop running so i caught it, threw to second, then threw to first for my second triple play ever, both with the white sox

Slow grounder to first, i tag the runner on, and tag the base. It was in the all-star game, too!

I literally didn't move at all. I stepped on the bag and moved my mit, that was it. the runner didn't take off.

I would love to see a triple play without moving though.

Which do you think is more likely to happen, a triple play without moving or two triple plays in one game?

two in one game. A triple play without moving would likely be a pitcher making a baserunning error, which would narrow it down to the NL, whereas two in one could be any given game.
