How about this new mode called expansion mode. It's where you could try to find players around the globe, as well as college players, high school players, and free agents to do a search to make a major league team. You get to play games as well, and you would be able to save your team, but the goal in this mode is to win the world series. You can do this mode until you decide to retire. Yes, you would be able to find real major leaguers in there. Some of the past success mode players could be found in the mode too such as Alvin, Toby, Robert, Robin, Marvin, Kameda, Goridou, Matsukawa, Hirayama, Bob, Frank, Milton, Peter, Rex, Walter, Bob, Tom, Joey, Terry, Zero, Gil, ect. But to get the players on the team, you have to play a challenge, such as batting test, 3 inning game, pitching test, etc. You also have to make a AAA and AA team as well. The minimum number of players on each team is 12. Maximum is 25 on the MLB team, while 20 is the maximum for AAA and AA.
you make you're own character. you're not GM. After the first season, it allows you to go find a coach.
but also in expansion mode, you would be able to walk in different places like a restaurant, college, high school, airport, independent league field in each of the following places: Japan, Mexico, South Korea, China, United States.

Cool idea. I don't see why not. Other than the difficulty of programming it in

I can see that happening but probably not the exact way you put it, more than likely not getting past players.

I like the idea of going to China, and Japan to pick up some more talent.
That would make the "dream drafts" really interesting.

sounds like an RPG game... pleasing people to finance/play for your team.

That's a very interesting idea and has a lot of potential. I just don't see it ever happening with difficulty of programming it and the fact that the company that makes MLBPP is in Japan and probably wouldn't be reading this forum. But you never know.

Dude, that'd be awesome! I mean, it'd be pretty cool if you could create a Success character and everyone will remember you! Like, if you choose anyone from the past Success modes, they'll remember you and be all cool. maybe even have a Team Chemistry feature where you could see how everyone feels about eachother, what some players are thinking, how they're doing, pretty much just like Season mode, but with more detail!

But if you're going to be a player-coach in the beginning, you should be able to hire a pitching coach or something, or maybe even a scout. You know, the works! That'll be awesome!
