Stemmy, this thread is not doing anything. It completely defeats the purpose of your title. Your title says "How to keep the forum alive", instead what you say is "Who are keeping the forum alive". You're making this sound similar to a competition. You listed out 4 members who in your opinion, their contributions are far more superior than everyone else. Also, you are putting blame on others that they are not active enough just because their do not have multiple post to keep a few members entertained and satisfied. You have to remember ALL the people who have kept this forum alive, all the way since MLBPP07. Everyone plays their part everyday. One post at a time matters. This forum does not just run on its own by 4 "prominent". This forum runs like a clock. All the clogs have to work together in order for this forum to work. This forum will not run by 4 people. You have to realized that in those 4 "major" threads you seem to highlight, there are a lot more others than the people who created it that help make the thread last. Threads will die out eventually and new threads will come in. You have to realized summer is almost over and people have school and extra curriculum. A average of 20 posts a day keeps me happy. We read about what others have to think and we treat it as a hang out. There is nothing much to expect from this forum, but we have already gone through this topic before and in the end, it comes to the same conclusion. This forum will die out someday if PP doesn't come out again. We can discuss other topics, but it is really common sense on how to be sociable and approach other people. Please don't post in this thread again as we've gone through this before. |

For reference, here's our daily statistics: Posts Per Day: 85.08 New Topics Per Day: 4.33 New Users Per Day: 1.53 Attachments Per Day: 1.16 So I would say at a clip of 85 posts per day, we aren't doing too bad. The website and wiki would just explode if there was a 2012 Power Pros released. |

I wrote an e-mail to the 2K Sports partnership division regarding a 2011/2012 Power Pros and I'm awaiting a reply. I know they'd have plenty of sales from this forum alone, if even half of this forum bought a 2011/2012 Power Pros copy it would probably pay for most of a developer's salary. |

Sorry to bump this (kinda) but I've gotta say, I totally agree. Power Pros is amazing, and I am quite frankly shocked that they didn't release a new one. It is one of the best baseball sims, along with being one of the deepest. Plus, it's got awesome graphics! |

I'm glad our admin is taking action, though. Maybe 2K will actually give a useful response to DS... Which I really hope for |
