I suggest limiting smilies to three per post. Some people have gotten a little crazy with them recently....

I'm starting to question the suggestion box, no mods have been on and none can read this but I agree 100%

Those numbers aren't that good when you're a mid but you do have to remember that they could be bored of here after awhile and they are in their 20's or older so they do have alot outside of this but we need new blood

Also there should be no smiley only posts allowed.

I don'r no if that's possible to moderate .It's either no smileys in any post, unlimited as far as I know. You can't physically stop someone from using more then 3, and telling them not to is a little to hard to enforce and too much micro-managing to edit anyone's post who uses more. And you can't really punish people for putting too many smiles. Are you going to ban someone for using too many smiles?

I think it should be a reasonable amount, like 6-8 smilies, but no all-smilie posts

Really though, why would you need to use 6 smilies in one post? Unless it's a really long post it's not neccesary.

Agreed, some people think that they can use 1 smilie as something to use in an argument

Just kidding. Anyways, i think the limit should be 5 or less smilies.

Even though i love going overboard on them! :D   :DD

That's 5 smilies!!!!

Also, i noticed that marvin card doesn't even have an avatar!

He used to have an avatar. Not sure why he removed it... But several people on here have no avatars. It's not mandantory.

I have to agree with you, but 3 may be not enough. I agree a limit should be enforced, but maybe 5.

However I don't use them so I wouldn't have a very good stand-point on it.

Three doesn't sound that bad though.

I was just throwing a reasonable number out there. It doesn't have to be three. Five would be fine. :)

Ah I see. That sounds reasonable though, 3 or 5.

Everyone needs to understand that the smilies are their to be able to express youself alittle better in your posts (that and to have a little fun I suppose). But everybody needs to remember that you shouldn't go overboard as that gets annoying.
