I suggest that the person that starts a topic can lock it whenever they feel neccesary. I'm not sure if you can change this but it seems like a good idea to me.

I was thinking of the exact same thing yesterday. Too many dead topics are being bumped and I want to lock my Eagles log before it gets bumped up again in 3 months

Ya I think that at some point they're gonna need one or two more mods cause Wyl and Odawali haven't been on since April 24 and Marvin Card hasn't been on since October
Maxsterling and darkshade come on every so often though so maybe they'll see all of the bumps lately and be able to give us our wish

We haven't really needed mods except the one guy that got banned and to lock topics. Other than that they haven't had to do much modding.

posts have nothing to do with it.
if you're on often, that's a good start, you don't have to be on every second of the day.
You have to know when to lock topics and when a user should be banned or suspended or whatever.

I think at least one or two more mods would be good, but we should wait to be sure that 09 isn't being released.. The forum might not make it if it doesn't.

If you're gonna put it like that then anyone can mod. It should really be more based on conduct.

Good point but at this point I don't think we need many mods, Darkshade and MaxDsterling are enough for now but I still approve of being able to lock our own topics

It's not like we've had people cursing at each other or anything...

Post subject:  Re: Locking Topics

this is a pretty safe forum besides that one guy but we still need mods for editing the site and such

Random: you can check to see what everyone is doing by pressing "who is online" at the bottom and because of that I saw that lance was replying to a suggestion box message. Sorry but I didn't know that before so I just had to say it...
