anyone else think it would be more convenient if the passwords were split into two subforums, one for wii, one for ps2? |

This conversation about sub-forums has been discussed constantly. The answer I've heard from the mods before is generally the same. The person who said it best (while pertaining to this thread versus other sub-forum ideas): Wyl wrote: Subforums don't cost anything more, but there is a point of diminishing returns. Generally the healthiest forum sites have a smaller number of high traffic forums rather than a higher number of lower traffic forums. It only really makes sense to split forums up when the intermingling of topics becomes confusing for people, or when the traffic is so great that active threads are getting quickly bumped off the first couple of pages (since most people won't look beyond a couple of pages), or when there is so many of a given topic that it warrants splitting them off on to their own. Personally I think we've got too many sub-forums as it is. For example, the Wii, PS2, and DS specific subs of the 2007 and 2008 forums aren't used nearly enough to justify having a separate forum to go check. IMHO of course. The Pawapuro sub-forum was opened by request, and last time I looked it had 3 posts in the 2-3 months it had been there. But that's just my take, others are welcome to feel differently ![]() He said it better then I could have ![]() |

I do think we should take out the subforums for MLB Power Pros, but this is an organizational matter. Also, the Pawapuro subforum has gotten some new traffic lately. |

I personally think it's fine as it is. I play on the PS2, but if I see an eye-catching Wii player while browsing the topics, I might open the thread and comment on it. Once you divide into subforums, I doubt I'll even browse the Wii one. |

Haha, sorry for mixing up your comments Odwali. I feel the same way about a PS2 players. Also, I really don't know if there are enough PS2 players to have its own subforum. While its an active thread, it doesn't seem overloaded. |
