Barry Zito from San Francisco Giants replied to my question!
Question: I have a question! If you were in a pitching slump, what would you do to get out of it? Thank you for reading my e-mail, Mr. Zito, sir.

Answer from Z: Taylor...I have just come threw a big pitching slump!!! And I have worked out of it by working very hard and trying to not doubt myself...and trust in myself and my ability of what got me to the big leagues in the first place. Sometmes if we think to much...and try to hard.....we aren't having fun out there ....and we can't do what we know how to do. I'm not sure if you are in a slump...if so, I say....stop listening to the noise in your head....trust yourself....and do what you love.

Z

What do you think about it? Very powerful isn't it.

AND YES THIS IS THE REAL BARRY ZITO FROM SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS!

I wonder how many replies you would get if you e-mailed every MLB player claiming to be their biggest fan :P . Probably not too many unless you actually proved that you know about how he plays.

I have no idea why, but I got a total Mark Discordia vibe from him.

I doubt many will understand that.

On the other hand as a major leaguer with an obvious e-mail address I'm sure he would have to answer quite a few e-mails and make mistakes at times. :P

It's good to know that millionaire celebrities can butcher the English language the way a 12 year old can!

Agreed. It is horribe to have someone his age, type in a way that makes you wonder. But I admit, gives me much more understaing as to why he's pitching the way he is now. LMAO! But yea, seriously, not cool on his part, if it realy was him. Probably pays someone to read and reply for him. Bat/ball boys do it all the time! They practice a signature until they have it down, so if a kid asks for their autograph, they just sign it themselves, but in the clubhouse of course.
