I arrived at my dream college, Seattle University. I was totally ready for my college experience to begin and couldn't wait for the baseball season to begin.

I went to the front desk in the main auditorium and asked my dorm assignment. They told me to go to room F-207. On the way walking all the way to the freshman dorms, which were all the way on the other side of the campus I noticed the beautiful Seattle air and some huge classrooms. Obviously, this college isn't a huge one, but it'd definitely bigger than my high school.

When I arrived at room F-207 two guys were already there who I assumed were my dormmates. I introduced myself to them and found out that one is a starting pitcher, Justin Cates, and the other is a utility fielder, Garvin Williams. Garvin seemed like a bit of a nerd on first impression as he went right back to his corner playing Minecraft on the computer.

I unpacked all my stuff and chose the top bunk on the right side as Garvin and Justin had already taken the two bottom bunks. When I got done unpacking I went:

I decided to go on a leisurely walk around the entire campus.

I learned much about the campus and its geography while also meeting some new people. I met a new girl who tried to flirt with me and asked for my number. Her name was Rylee Atkins and she was decent looking. I learned that she is a sophomore.

I went back to my dorm and it was 7:30, PM of course. By the time I was back, the fourth guy had gotten situated in the dorm. I learned his name was Brian Carswell. He looked kinda overweight, I thought to myself. I asked him what position he played and he said he was a third baseman.

My other dormmates told me that involuntary workouts begin in the last week of September and that coaches weren't allowed to be there.

SEPTEMBER WEEK 4 YEAR 1

I was doing pretty well in school through the first two weeks of studies. Each class had seemed pretty easy so far, Speech seemed like the hardest class though.

After all my classes, except Grammar, which began at 4:45, and I decided not to go, I headed over to the baseball field where some of the other players were. The captain, a center fielder, LaQuan Wilson, was his name if I recall correctly, asked us for our names and positions. I told him I was a starting pitcher, and he told me the starting rotation was already pretty solid so I'd have to be dang good to get a job in the rotation. He said freshman year I'd likely pitch out of the bullpen.

LaQuan introduced us 4 freshman, to facilities and the areas to practice. He showed us around the clubhouse also and said we could hang out here anytime and that we could almost always find him here.

I decided to throw into a target for the first thirty minutes of involuntary workouts. There, I met a Junior, named Shane Carson. He was a lefty and said he was a starter for the team last year. We became good friends as he gave me some pointers on accuracy.

Control increased by 3

After that, I hit the gym and did some work swimming laps to build shoulder strength. There was no one at the pool so I swam for 30 minutes, then got out, took a shower, and returned to my dorm.

I called Rylee and asked her if she wanted to hang out. She said yeah and told me to meet her in her dorm. I went over to her dorm, it was already 8:30 P.M. so I was wondering what we were gonna do. I knocked on her dorm door, and she answered. She said she'd be right out in a second.

I was thinking to myself and remembered I wasn't allowed to be in the girls wing after 8:00 but I thought YOLO.

It had been 5 minutes since she answered the door and she still hadn't come out yet. I looked to the right and I saw a security guard walking around. I got scared, what should I do?

A) Break in to Rylee's dorm
