Does anyone play any competitive eSports here? I play a little of everything; Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, League of Legends, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. MLB Power Pros is sort of an alternative for me because it's offline and relaxing, but still difficult.

No, I don't think anyone does. The majority of us probably don't even play much online

Sports require physical exertion to be called a sport, sport.

sport (spĂ´rt, sprt)
n. 1.
a. Activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.

Basically it's just a more competitive form of videogames, I don't like the title "eSports" either, but that's what they call it.
Just seeing if anyone on here has similar interests. :)

I actually played some competitive Team Fortress 2 in the UGC Highlander tournament this summer. We got steamrolled in our first game and then the team broke apart.

Aww that's too bad man, but good to hear someone else into that. I was going to go to MLG Anaheim but it was way too expensive. My friend's brother is going to start doing competitive Team Fortress 2 as well. What was your team's name?

Don't you just love it when your internet times out just in time to make you double post?

I had like an 1800 elo when I used to play league of legends.

What Division would that translate to? There's no longer ELO to measure rank, it's now Bronze to Challenger on a scale. My friends are recently in Ranked with around 20 wins each and I'm gonna join with them when I get to level 30.

I know it was pretty good, I don't play anymore so I wouldn't know.

My friends played competitive LoL, but I think that game is absolutely awful. I watch and somewhat follow fighting games events like EVO and CEO

Nice! I like LoL a lot and am hoping to get more into it, sorry you aren't a fan. :/
What in particular do you like in EVO? Street Fighter is always fun to watch, and MVC2/3 are good too.
