From yesterday until Friday, Sony is holding a vote for which MLB player will end up on the cover of MLB 13: The Show. There are seven nominees.

Matt Kemp, currently in 3rd with 17,879 votes
C.C. Sabathia, currently in 4th with 12,905 votes
Andrew McCutchen, currently in 1st with 26,264 votes
Bryce Harper, currently in 5th with 12,681 votes
Buster Posey, currently in 6th with 8,697 votes
Ryan Braun, currently in 7th with 5,059 votes
Miguel Cabrera, currently in 2nd with 21,060 votes

It looks to be a three man race, but with Cutch holding a commanding lead. So, first, you should make sure and vote here about who you hope will win. Then, if you can, go here, and using either Facebook or Twitter, cast your vote for the player of your choosing.

I voted Posey but I could see any of the candidates really. Especially Harper or Trout since they made such an impact at such a young age, and it'd be nice to see a fresh face.

It's kind of a tough vote. No one was really the "face" of the MLB last year. But I'd vote for Cabrera.

I'd actually argue that Trout was the "face" of the MLB this year, Zumi. But that's just me, and of course I'd love to see Cabrera on the cover.
