This game is (or was) the reason we're all here. So today I ask you, what are your favorite memories from the game? Maybe it was opening it up on Christmas day. Maybe it was racing through Success Mode the first time, or possibly the first time your were successful. Maybe it was a team that you managed that went on to win multiple World Series. Maybe it was guilding a player to the greatest career ever. Whatever they are, please tell us! I plan and giving mine, but my iPod is about to die and I must go charge it

First time I ever played, I picked the Phillies. Jayson Werth was in right field (because I had subbed him in for Geoff Jenkins). They hit a fly ball to right and since I had no idea what I was doing, Werth could only stand and watch as the ball rolled to the fence for an inside-the-park homer.

Christmas 2007, I believe.

I don't even remember how I got the game, but my favorite memory is the first time I saw Marvin in the pitching machine.

I've only had it a few years, so I don't have a specific memory. Finally learning success then getting my first success player done and sharing it was a nice accomplishment. Lots of fun times playing franchises with different teams and seeing how they change over the years.

The first time playing Success Mode, without a doubt.

Definitely the scene with Marvin's brother. Cracked me up so much I took pictures the next time I saw it.

That, and the time I finally beat the GalaxySharks. Took a pic of that too.

1) When I finally beat the Supes! It was awesome. Although nothing good happened after.

2) In '08 making a dominant closer that I used in Life Mode as a starter. He ended up throwing 2 perfect games in 3 years.

On both games, going through Success mode.

To this day it is the most creative, fun and interesting game mode I have seen in a sports game. Heck, it's the best game mode in any game.

I remember giving the original to my cousin on Christmas 2007. He had brought another game over to our house and didn't even notice that he left it there when he went back because he was so busy playing power pros.

Well, it was worth it!

First time passing '07's success mode.

It was incredible. These games, man, these games.

The first guy I ever made was like 2DDGDCA something like that, he was a C/1B. Obviously error resistance was soooooooo easy to max in '07.

So easy to max error resistance in both.

It's not as easy in '08 though, for some reason.

It's tougher in the Japanese games, beeteedubs
