The Giants like playing the underdog. It's what they've done all season long and what they'll continue to do, win or lose.

Verlander is damn scary though.

Go Tigers? The Tigers have been steamrolling through the playoffs and that's why I think they'll win it.

You know who else steamrolled thought the playoffs? The '07 Rockies

But the Rockies didn't really have the talent. That was mostly luck and underdogism, the Tigers should've been in the World Series (or the Rangers) because they were one of the most talented teams.

Luck? Winning 21 of 22 games isn't luck.

And yes, the Tigers are talented with Miggy, Fielder, and Verlander. But that doesn't explain just 88 wins, despite playing in the weakest division in baseball

Terrible defense at the four corner positions, Delmon Young continues to be one of the worst everyday players in baseball, and Boesch & Raburn combined for -2.8 WAR. The bullpen was pretty meh, too. On the plus side, they had Miggy & Prince on offense, great starting pitching, and a star year from Austin Jackson.

The Giants are very balanced, aside from Posey. Should be a long series.

It still baffles me how Young won ALCS MVP...

The dude has a knack for getting hot (or lucky) in the postseason despite his true talent and egg-like physique. That being said, I won't be surprised if he hits .125 in the WS.

Well, the good news is Boesch and Raburn aren't on the postseason roster (can I get an A-men?), the bad news is that we have to see Delmon (or Elmon as some in the fanbase call him, cause he has no "D", get it?) play the outfield, which could be scary given those dimensions at AT&T. We'll see how he does in the series.
