Hey guys. With Cooldude starting his NHL '13 log, I thought I might start a player log on my favorite hockey game, NHL Slapshot. What do you guys think of this idea?

I don't know much about that game, but I'd follow the log because it would be my favorite sport.

Meh, I hate hockey.

NHL Slapshot is a Wii game that is motion controlled. You swing to shoot, move with nunchuck, and push A to pass. It comes with a hockey stick accessory. It's fun once you start playing.

I said no because you're copying someone else.

Plus, you already have a log.

Yeah, but my dad has been using the laptop for school a lot lately, so I need something to do that doesn't require the laptop.

Let's see, there's Power Pros.

Kinda hard to do my Stingers log without the laptop.

I have a PC, it's just that my Wii isn't in the same room as the PC, and I HATE having to write everything down.

The only similarities between this and cooldude's is that they're both hockey! This is based on a player mode while cooldude's is ultimate team. Plus, they're two different games. It's like saying you can't do a football or basketball log because someone did one first.

I think I'll be doing it then. I'll be using a guy named Travis Barnum.

I'm Travis Barnum. I'm playing my first year of Hockey in Toronto. I hope I do alright.

My dad convinced me to start playing after he took me to a Maple Leafs game this past season. So here I am, ready to begin my career.

I've been drafted by the Sabertooths, a local Peewee team. In the Peewee league, we play 5 minute periods and 3-on-3 with a goalie.

My coach has me starting at center against the Bandits today, even though I want to play right wing. Oh well.
