So, I've heard Steam(the gaming website-thing) talked about a little, and I'm kind of curious, and have a few questions.

I get that it's a gaming website, but can you explain it?

Do I need a controller to play these games, or can I just use a keyboard and mouse?

Will my below average laptop that sounds like a medium sized engine when it gets hot be able to handle these games?

Do you recommend it?

Thanks, PPFan. I was kinda thinking about getting it, but then I figured that my laptop wouldn't be able to handle it.

But I think I'll probably get a PS4 if I ever do get some sort of new gaming device, cuz I got dough from working all summer. Plus I've been helping my dad out with finishing my brother's basement, and last time I helped with a major project I got $250. So I don't doubt I'd be able to afford it, as long as my parents give the okay, which might be tough because my dad kinda hates video games.
