Amazing! 28 home runs in the first round, best ever!

Did anyone see Grady Sizemore's homer that completely left Yankee Stadium?!

I was angry that both his outs were in a row. No gold ball off of him.
Other than that, he broke Abreu's record :P

Yeah, me and my dad both saw it when they showed in in slow motion. It barely made it over the white fencing thing at the top.

Hamilton was impressive, but I was just as impressed as the man pitching to him. That seventy-one year old man had to be tired. He should have been cheered just as much as Hamilton. It can't be easy getting the ball in the perfect spot, especially at seventy-one years old.

i was so upset but then i realized what a great story he has to tell for his kids and grandkids someday

other than that it was awesome, i didn't even pick morneau to make it past the first round

Me neither. I picked the final round to be Grady Sizemore and Chase Utley and Chase Utley winning it.

i had sizemore and hamilton going into the final round, but hey i don't think there would've been that much of a difference to hamilton's story if he won it or not

It was pretty wild. I was playing City of Villains with some friends and kept concentrating too much on his first round to be of any help to them.

I wish berkman could have been in the finals.

Being in the DFW area and seeing plenty of the Rangers, I expected Hamilton to make the finals. You don't realize how strong he is just looking at him, but I was out at the park watching pre-game batting practice a couple of months ago and he hit one to dead center that went over the little building at the top of the grass hill. Sure it was just BP, but that's about 560' from home plate where the ball landed.

It may sound like revisionist history, but I was telling my wife beforehand last night that I thought all the ESPN guys picking Utley were nuts. Sure he's got power, but it's more of a line drive power. Berkman is kind of the same way, though with more raw power than Utley. Even though Yankee Stadium is tough on righties, I thought the finals were going to be Hamilton vs. Braun.

I was predicting Hamilton vs. Braun as well. Unfortunatly I missed the first round due to baseball practice.

I just made it home from my baseball game  .

Not so lucky today as the game dragged on forever so I missed the first 4 innings of the all-star game.

I had predicted Hamilton vs. Berkman in the finals, just kinda due to their reputations as real home run hitters. I thought Hamilton was going to win.
