Why are umbrals made of metal? Don't we call that a lightenrod? If we got rid of the "drive through window" would we still call McDonalds and such "fast food?" When people talk about "budget cuts" why is education always the first thing to be cut? Go ahead...ask a question |

...why we pay people doing many of the most important jobs the least (teachers, law enforcement, fire fighters, military, etc.) and pay people doing the least important jobs the most (athletes, entertainers, etc.). |

How the Yankees offense is the problem yet the pitching staff has been arguably the best in the game in the past two months? How the bullpen has only lost 1 game yet everyone still says the bullpen stinks with the exception of Mariano? How I still have shivers going down my spine with Farnsworth pitches even though he's blown 1 game and has been a brilliant set up man? (I can answer that. I saw the game he blew and the game in which the Yanks were playing the mets and would have come back if he hadn't given up two homes leading to three runs. How they still have Chip Beary annoucing Yankee games for Fox after his horrendous job in the play offs? |

This has always baffled me too. I mean I guess the reason the athletes and entertainers get so much is because how much the sport/movie makes. |

Why on a four door car there are no locks on the back door? You always have to reach around through the front door to unlock them. They say we are an obesse (fat) nation but we are also that same nation that invented the drive through window because we are to lazy to get out of car and go inside. |

Why is that oil companys can figure out how to have billion dollar profits each quarter but our goverment can't? A cat always lands on its feet, is this true if it has no feet? |

I don't take credit for these. I found these on the comedy central website: - Why do drive-up ATM machines have braille? - Why do stores make sick people go to the back to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front? |

Why don't motocycles have seatbelts? Don't you need one to keep from falling off, at least have one for the passenger. We expect them in cars why not a motocycle? |

Honestly, I'd prefer NOT to be locked onto my bike. I've been in enough accidents/near misses going to college (those blondes just can't drive those SUVs here in SoCal) that I prefer to be able to bail from my bike should bad things happen. For example, once my bike ended up underneath an 18-wheeler because some dumb blonde thought she could turn in front of me. I would have probably lost my leg and an arm (if not more) had I still been attached to the bike. I don't bike anymore now that I'm out of college (I suppose I'll wait 'til my mid-life crisis). |

Why is it that when the radio is playing you can sing every song perfectly but as soon as someone turns it off your completely clueless! Why is it that you can only remeber one line to some songs. Examples: We come from the land downunder...? Walk like an Egpytain....? Wolly Bully...? Everybody wants to rule the world...? They say the US is one of the richest nations in the world but we are also the country with one of the biggest, if not the biggest, debts in the world. How can we be the richest and have the biggest debt? If God created the seventh day to rest and worship then why don't reglious people work six days a week? |
