Yah, but it was a different anime.

And Robotech was really the first anime...besides Speed Racer, I guess. The first real good, deep storyline that came over and really opened eyes here. and Max was, of course, the coolest character. Ever.

I enjoyed those shows as a kid. Those shows are part of the reason I am into anime now.
