I would discuss, but I know pretty much nothing about hockey.

Well, the preseason is over (I used it to try to get the difficulty and slider to a level where it's possible for me to win and lose) and the Bruins were dominant, going 4-0.

Notable preseason stats:
Sidney Crosby lead the team in points, with 8 points on 2 goals and 6 assists
Patrick Marleau has 7 points on 3 goals and 4 assists
There was a 5 way tie for 3rd in points, as Okposo, Gerbe, Hall, Upshall and Fleischmann all had 4 points
Tomas Vokoun proved that he is still a great goalie, with a 4-0 record, a 1.00 goals against average, and an unreal .945 save percentage

So, yeah, I'm pretty much making this into a log, with all the aspects of the game I don't understand, it may suck, but still.

I'm going to put some rosters up later. The rosters will be the Bruins and a few others that you guys can request, I don't really feel like putting up rosters for every team. So, if you have a favorite team, you can request their roster, and, if you have a favorite player, you can ask what team he's on.

If anyone feels like it, they can take jobs like agents and trade advisors, but I'm not sure there would even be a point to it.

Line 4:
J.Morin, Z.Hamill, G.Landeskog (pretty much just a prospect line)

Defense Pair 1:
C.Franson, K.Yandle

Defense Pair 2:
K.Johnsson, D.Ekman-Larsson

Defense Pair 3:
A.Larsson, R.Ellis (prospects)

Goalies:
T.Vokoun
J.Campbell (prospect)

Bench:

B.Gormley

The Bruins opening game will be against the Philadelphia Flyers, at home, the Flyers top stars are D.Roy and Ryan Miller. It will be interesting to see if one of these great goalies will steal the game for their team.

There's not really a lot of interest in this log. Maybe I should be on a hockey forum.

In any case, I may have to delay this until I'm less busy or they release the patch for it, as it is the game freezes literally around half the time you try to play a game. Right now, I don't have time to play 7 periods to finish one game.

I am interested. Not really a hockey person though, so I can't contribute much.

I'm in the same boat as Lance.

But I do like the way this is going.

You can't have a boat at a hockey rink, all the water's frozen. It would be more appropriate to say we're in the same Zamboni.

Very well then, I'm in the same Zamboni as Lance.

Why do spammers capitalize weird words?

Anyway, I'll hop on lance's Zamboni.

In the first game of the season, the Bruins absolutely dominated, even their 4th line centers and Parros got into the scoring in this 6-0 victory. Vokoun's play was overshadowed by his offense, but he was great, making 20 saves in the shutout victory. After a penalty and 4 goals allowed, Miller was taken out of the game. Enroth did better as a backup, allowing only 2 goals in more than twice as much time, and having a shutout third period.

Score:
Phi: 0
Bos: 6

Goals:

1st Period

Bos: Okposo
Assisted by Hall

Bos: Crosby
Assisted by Okposo, Franson

Bos: Hamill
Assisted by Morin, Ekman-Larsson

Bos: Landeskog
Assisted by Morin, Yandle

2nd Period

Bos: Hall
Assisted by Crosby

Bos: Parros
Assisted by Fleischmann, Abdelkader

3rd Period

No scoring

Staring Goalie Comparison:
Vokoun: 59:57, 20 shots against, 20 saves, 1.000 save percentage
Miller: 16:47, 13 shots against, 9 saves, 0.692 save percentage

This format is pretty disorganized and I may be lacking important information. Let me know if you have any ideas to improve it.

I'd put the city abbreviations in all caps, just because it looks better.

Other than that, maybe another section tracking penalties and their causes?
