Post subject:  St. Louis Rams Franchise Log - Year 2 - Madden 11 Xbox 360
After going 7-9 last year with rookie QB Sam Bradford, I've decided to make a log about them in the year after

So I will sim the 1st year(2010) and just pretend that it was the same as the real life 2010 and go from there

This is with the Xbox 360 version of Madden NFL 11

So when I start this, it will be from the off season

Rams trade WR Avery to Titans in interesting deal
St. Louis -- The Rams have traded WR Donnie Avery and a 1st round draft pick to the Titans in exchange for the Titan's 1st round and 2nd round pick in 2012. Avery's abilities have been lowered due to a season ending injury in the preseason last year and all the Rams can hope for is that the Titans have a rough season

I pretty much just want to get this offseason/preseason over with so I can get to the regular season. Here's a few things you need to know going into 2011 though:

Preseason Week 4 -- The Rams lost their final preseason game to the Chargers 45-24 in a game where the Rams struggled to tackle and a huge 4th quarter by the Chargers haunted them. The starting lineup in the 1st half had their highlights in the 2nd quarter with an 81-yard touchdown to rookie Resean Smith and then an interception touchdown by Bradley Fletcher made it 14-14 at half time. In the 4th down 24-21 the Chargers scored 23 unanswered which started with a safetly on a holding penalty in the end zone, a 57-yard catch and run by Ajirotutu on missed tackles, a 7-yard Mathews TD run and then a fumble recovery for a TD by Shawn Phillips

Week 1 -- Week One was a frustrating one for the Rams as they lose 13-7 in Cincy. The Bengals scored the first 13 points of the game with Palmer only having to throw 20 passes in the game and Ochocinco being held without a catch. The Rams offense turned the ball over 4 times with Bradford turning it over 3 times including 3 turnovers in Bengals territory. The Rams finally got on the board late in the 4th with a great catch on 3rd and 15 in the corner of the end zone by Rasean Smith for a 35-yard touchdown to make it 13-7 at that point with 3:34 left but Jackson fumbled in Bengals territory late to seal it.
