What do you guys want for Christmas? I want DJ Hero, tons of CDs, and that's pretty much it.

New camera lens, Rock Band 3 (with the keyboard), and a Nook (electronic book reader). Other than that, nothin' major.

I want a few video games, but, other than that, nothing much.

Also, Kindle FTW!

I want a Kindle too! Plus, NBA 2K11 for Wii.(Basketball is my favorite sport) I also want a new Nerf hoop, because, c'mon, who doesn't like playing Nerf basketball???? And, I also asked for more wii remotes and racing wheels, because we only have 2 controllers currently, so we have to take turns when we play.

Christmas has turned in this society into a day of free presents -sigh-

As a Christian, I'm praising my Lord and Redeemer being born.

But a few video games aren't that bad I suppose.

I agree. Sometimes even I forget what Christmas is all about when I get caught up in the gift giving/receiving. And sometimes I remember what it's about, but I can't comprehend how big of a deal it is that Jesus would come down to this horrible earth, and live here and be killed by the people he was literally dying to save. It blows my mind.

On a different note, I already know one of my presents because my mom bought it off eBay, which I regularly use to sell stuff. It's a new baseball bat! I'm getting a new Rawling's 5150. :D

Ditto. I love this theme people bring up when everyone's so caught up in the rush and the presents. I don't consider myself a mega-Christian (though I think I might be getting there in school   ), but great message.

On topic, here's what I want
-New Bible
-USC (Gamecocks) Gear
-Couple of Video Games
-One or two books
-Warmups for Basketball.

Rob, you hit the nail right on the head. I go to a Catholic High School, and it's always nice to see people like you who think that way.

But, anyways, I want:

NBA 2K11 for PS3 (The NBA games are the only good games from 2K Sports besides, well, you know ;))
Some $$$ (Always good)
A gaming chair (I'd love one of these, maybe it'll get me to actually sit still while I'm playing video games :P)
A new mountain bike (Trying to get more strength in my legs during break for the upcoming baseball season)
An Airsoft gun (Only for use when I get bored)
A new pair of moccasins (Extremely comfortable)
New running shoes (The ones I have are too small)

Nothing else comes to mind right now...

I did not come to this topic to see religious commentary, I came to see people be materialistic slobs and tell us what they want for X-Mas!

Lol, I kid. The thing that makes me cringe is the War on Christmas some people seem to be waging, because they can't accept that it's also Hanukkah season and they can't accept that there are Jews and atheists and Muslims in this country. They're the people who go up in arms because Tulsa changed their Christmas Parade's name to a Holiday Parade.

*is not devoutly religious by any means* :P

I just changed the name of the thread, but there's no point since both of those are already over :P
