I think it'll be a good series and it was definitely a surprise since I think few people would have chosen these two teams to go to the Fall Classic. Are you guys rooting for either one in particular or think one has a better chance than the other?

I'm thinking it'll be the Rangers in at least 5 games.

I could honestly go either way. I think it'll be the Rangers in 6.

Lincecum! What's wrong with you? You're better than this! This is not what we've come to expect from you! Pull yourself together, man!

And Bengie Molina runs funny.

I want Texas to win, but I honestly wouldn't care if the Giants win. In fact, I will be so stoked no matter who wins.

Not as bad as Guerrero, he runs like he has a crap in his pants

And Cliff Lee is just..amazing. he's off to a nice start and has a double. didn't he have a stolen base last year? and he was 3-11 last year as a hitter in the playoffs. He just acts so calm too...

Cody Ross singles in another run. Great at-bat by Burrell.

EDIT: Aubrey Huff singles in another runs, 5-2 Giants now. Cliff Lee looks really beatable now.

EDIT: Darren O'Day, fellow MLBPP player, replaces Lee. Lee will likely get saddled with the loss.

Am I the only one following this game? Juan Uribe hits 3 run homer to put Giants up 8-2. Game's pretty much over now.

Tim Lincecum bats twice in this 6-run inning, and gets on base on an error by Elvis Andrus of all people.

Rangers are really falling apart this game.

Rangers score a run after a great at bat by Kinsler and a double by Molina.

I'm watching it too. That was a major 3 run homer by Uribe! We'll see how the Rangers respond and right
now, looks like they're not ready to give up.

Yeah, Rangers just scored another run on a single by pinch hitter David Murphy. Lincecum is replaced by Santiago Casilla. I don't think this was the Lincecum/Lee matchup anyone was predicting...

Indeed, definitely not what I was thinking. Now it's a battle of the bullpens. Even though the Rangers
can give up quite a few runs, at least they'll able to score just as many too (although this might be
the first game when it's closer.)

Giants add another run due to a Vlad error and a pinch-hit double from Travis Ishikawa.

Freddy Sanchez gets World Series record tying 4th double of the game, scoring Ishikawa. 10-4 Giants.
Guererro is really making a fool of himself out in right field.

San Fran gets another run. Fangraphs says Giants Win Expectancy is 100%

11-7, Giants take game 1. Cliff Lee's first loss in his postseason career, but I'm sure he'll get another chance to add to his win total before it's all said and done. Maybe the Rangers have met their match...we'll see.
