In case anyone looks back at this for whatever reason, I will leave the update that the season is gone, therefore this log is done, also, my current computer can barely even play stuff this crappy. DeathJohnson, a man of questionable background, has started his own basketball team to join the BBA. He has an Arena on a Rooftop for his teams games, and black and white uniforms, only black in away games. Scouting reports are as follows: Garret Backe: The captain of the team, though perhaps not the best just yet, with seasoning he should be great. Inside Shot: 6/10 Outside Shot: 6/10 Ball Handling: 5/10 Defense: 5/10 Quickness: 5/10 Ryosuke Fujisawa: A horrible shooter, he misses everything but the easiest layups, his value lies in getting the ball, and then he has just enough ball handling skill to get it to a better shooter. Inside Shot: 1/10 Outside Shot: 1/10 Ball Handling: 5/10 Defense: 10/10 Quickness:10/10 Newton Donnell: He's an amazing shooter, who can hit shots from literally anywhere on the court. His limitations lie in the fact that he can do hardly anything else, so if he was heavily guarded, he'd be useless. Inside Shot: 10/10 Outside Shot: 10/10 Ball Handling: 5/10 Defense: 1/10 Quickness: 1/10 The backup players for the team are Kenny Kawaguchi, and Vicki Kawaguchi, who are both considerably more skilled at basketball than a first impression would indicate. The Dime Droppers first game is a home game against the Denver Nuggets. |

Dime Droppers win first game of season: Code: 1. 2. 3. 4. Final. Home: 25 25 23 31 104 Away: 8 18 15 14 55 Dime Droppers: 104 Nuggets: 55 The whole game was a blowout from the start, the Nuggets falling behind early and never getting any closer. The Dime Droppers walked all over them, even their worst offensive player got through the defenders with a couple dunks. Donnell made several 3 point shots from behind half court, and the team played good defense, only fouling once. Player of the Game Award went to: Newton Donnell: 62 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals. Actually, in the original backyard baseball, Kenny had a 2/4 in power, 3/4 in speed, 4/4 in pitching, and 2/4 in defense. This pretty much kicks the crap out of Angela Delvecchio, who was the only other 4/4 pitcher (3, 1, 4, and 1). |

Weirdly enough, his pitching in 05 was 4... out of 10. and his 5 power wasn't enough to be useful. Contact, Speed, and Defense were all 7s. The speed wasn't really enough to take advantage of the contact, so his only real advantage was as a shortstop since his defense was decent and his wheelchair made him immune to the Sonic Boom power-up, which was one of the more common power-ups. |

redsfan wrote: BTW, is this on PC? Yes, that's the most annoying part of this log, I can't type things up as I go, I have to write them, then type them. I'm writing the small game summaries from memory. And partially making them up, it's not like you can prove any of these things didn't happen, and in my memory, they did. I'm not intentionally making anything up. Dime Droppers win again at home: Code: 1. 2. 3. 4. Final. Home: 29 39 24 35 127 Away: 11 23 8 8 50 Dime Droppers: 127 Trailblazers: 50 The Dime Droppers are starting to prove their early dominance may not be a lucky fluke, as they took an even bigger win against the Trailblazers, winning by 77 points. By the end of the game, the Trailblazers seemed to stop trying, giving several turnovers resulting in Dime Dropper field goals. After hitting a few fairly simple shots, even Ryosuke was able to heat up enough to hit a couple 3 pointers from behind the halfcourt line. (Really, you know the game is easy when the worst possible shooter can hit shots from that far back) Player of the Game: Garret Backe: 47 points, 4 rebounds, 14 assists, 5 blocks, 17 steals. Awards/Milestones: (I forgot to check them in the endgame screen, so I hope I didn't miss any) Garret Backe Double Double Ball Handling (Now 7/10) Garret Backe 5 blocks in a game Defense (Now 7/10) Ryosuke Fujisawa Triple Double Inside Shot (2/10) The Dime Droppers next game is another home game, this time against the New Jersey Nets. They will, no doubt, be trying to extend their win streak to a third game. |

Dime Droppers dominate again, winning by 100 points: Code: 1. 2. 3. 4. Final. Home: 40 28 30 36 134 Away: 6 7 7 14 34 Dime Droppers: 134 Nets: 34 The Dime Droppers are continuing to look unstoppable at home, using perfect teamwork and even more perfect ballhogging. Everyone on the team took plenty of shots and scored plenty of points, though the defense got a bit lazy in the fourth quarter, the Dime Droppers still won by a considerable amount. Player of the Game: Garret Backe: 60 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists, 5 blocks, 13 steals. Awards/Milestones: Ryosuke Fujisawa 20 points in a game Inside Shot (Now 3/10) Ryosuke Fujisawa 5 3-pointers in a game Outside Shot (Now 2/10) Ryosuke Fujisawa Double Double Outside Shot (Now 3/10) The Dynamic Dime Droppers' next game will be against the Seattle SuperSonics, who are also undefeated. Will they be able to beat these basketball bionics, and on the road no less? Only time will tell. |
