Here's some helpful info about forums.
Season Logs: Play season mode and write summaries of games!
Don't spam: Don't post more than 12 times a day. Trust me, people will not appreciate.
Ask Questions: If you have a question about the game, someone will know the answer. These guys are the experts.
Games: Veterans hate these, but they can be fun!
Password Exchange: Post your passwords for success characters here!

I would consider myself a "veteran" on here, I've been a member since April of 09 so I say welcome to you [tm]! I'm LightningMan117, but most people call me by LM or LM117. This site has seen its better days sadly, as many original members have come and gone, including the mods, but if new members like you keep coming along, who knows how long this site could last! I've made many good friends on here with people I don't know the first name of off the top of my head, and I hope you do the same.

A basic introduction to new members is here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2305 . This is the best introduction we have to our site and it introduces some promentient members of current and past on here

A short history of the Forum is here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3932 . Very nice job done by jacobye46 on what's happened in the forum's history. Also names many prominent members.

A few personal tips from myself:

-DON'T SPAM!!! I cannot stress this enough. In order to gain respect on here you must learn to make meaningful posts. I give a certain amount of leanencey to new members as we all take time to mature on here from what I've seen, but trust me, its more important than you think. For more information, look here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3294&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=spam . This is a topic created by the DrMario, and gives some good ideas on how to stop spam.

-Ask, and you will be answered. The "vets" here know their Power Pros and can help you with almost any issue in the game, and give you advice on the various modes. You can poke around some of the 2008 topics to find some pretty neat stuff about the game too.

-Season logs, whether it be for Power Pros or other games, are very popular and are a fun way to be active. Chose a team, any team

-The Games, although they are basicly spam topics, are actualy quite fun to play IF you and the others are creative with your answers. Otherwise its a real bore (see last few posts of the "Your Banned" topic)

One thing I want to get striaght, MaddenTalk is NOT our sister site. It's not even started by our founder Darkshade!
