Well, since there have been a lot of topics like this, I decided to make one about any good books you've been reading. My school forced us all to read The Hunger Games over the summer, and it was AWESOME! :dancetime: So right now I'm reading the sequel, Catching Fire, and I have the 3rd book, Mockingjay, tucked away for later.

WARNING: The Hunger Games trilogy contains violence, nudity, and whole lotta bloody death. Keep out of the reach of adults under the age of 13.

MY school made us read this book called "The Outsiders." It was really good! I highly recommend it.

I read Brave New World (Aldous Huxley) and All Quiet on the Western Front (Erich Remarque) recently. They're both really good, and Brave New World really makes you think.
My favorite book of all time remains The City of Ember (Jeanne DuPrau).

I have a few books to recommend.

Any book by John Feinstein, first off, the man is the best sportswriter out there.
Secondly, Freakonomics and its sequel, Super Freakonomics. It's like economics, but it's really engrossing, even strange in some ways.
Third, a book called Paranoia, by Joseph Finder. It's about corporate espionage, and the end is absolutely shocking.
Finally, my favorite fiction book of all time: The Godfather.
Yes, it was a book before it was a movie, and the book is astounding.

Ah, this summer I read until I couldn't read no more. Here are those books/series I read

Finished Harry Potter series off (Books 3-7)
All Percy Jacksons out in paperback at the time (5th just came out in paperback)(Books 1-4)
Hungers Games, Book 1. Great book (Mocking Jay, 3rd in the series, is pretty much the only book on anyones desk in my class right now)

As far as other favorites go

John Feinstien, particualry his sports mysteries. Man can write.
Kingdom Keepers, series about teens fighting Disney Villians in Walt Disney World. Being a Dsiney nut, I eat it up
Mike Lupica
Weenies series of short stories by David Lubar

And above all, Moneyball

Moneyball is indeed fantastic. I've reread that about 5 times...

The Ranger's Apprentice series is really good. I LOVE the Harry Potter series too. The books are twice as good as the movies.
